While Charleston has beautiful weather year-round, there are still seasons that are better for weddings than others. When it comes to the ideal seasons for a Charleston wedding, I always say that spring to fall is the most popular. The weather in Charleston from March to early June is cool and breezy, and September to October is warm, but not too humid. These are the best time frames to plan your Charleston wedding in!

Charleston weather isn’t perfect – it’s close to it when comparing to other areas of the US, but we do experience extreme humidity and rainfall. When it comes to choosing a month to get married in Charleston, you want to look at the average weather for each month. The average temperature in Charleston can range from 42-degrees to 90-degrees depending on the season. Determine which temperature is perfect for you and plan your wedding for that month. Plus… we don’t want a bad hair day because of the rain!

There are so many different wedding venues in Charleston – there are historic venues, indoor/outdoor venues, or waterfront venues.
