What an amazing day this recent couple, Savannah and Payton, had for their wedding day at the Island House! I’m so honored to have been a part of it.
Savannah and Payton were connected when fate placed Savannah in Payton’s family home to reside during a church internship. In her two months in Payton’s family home, Savannah became a part of the family. She was always included in family activities such as playing games, going on hikes, going paddle boarding and watching movies.
Savannah and Payton grew close when it came time to quarantine together and they had the opportunity to spend a lot of time together. During this time, they enjoyed playing spike ball and volleyball, watching movies, and binging the Office. These activities allowed them to get to know each other and when it came time for Savannah to move out, they began dating. Since that time, the two have become inseparable!
Payton proposed to Savannah on January 22, 2021 while out in Greenville with friends. After convincing Savannah to go to the bathroom so he could prepare, Payton surprised her by being on one knee with a ring when she returned. Savannah explains that she cried tears of joy in this moment!
One of Savannah’s favorite things about Payton is that he is not only her love but also her best friend. She also loves that they connect in so many ways and just enjoy being around each other. She says there is no one else she’d rather go on adventures with!
Payton describes his favorite things about Savannah being her sense of adventure and that he never gets tired of being around her because she makes everything so much fun!
Their wedding day was nothing short of breathtaking! The colors, the details, the venue all tied together so perfectly, as you can see in these photos. They were such a sweet couple to work with, and I loved being able to capture these memories for them.
Following their wedding, Savannah and Payton jetted off to Florida to enjoy their honeymoon together as a newly wedded couple!
