I’m so excited to be sharing this recent Boone Hall Plantation wedding that I photographed for a lovely couple, Jennifer and Phillip.
Jennifer and Phillip’s love story dates back to 2018 when they met in Dallas. After both swiping right, and some flirtatious conversation over text, Phillip finally asked Jennifer to grab drinks one night. He admittedly almost cancelled that first date since football season had just begun! Lucky for the two of them, Phillip kept his commitment.
After two months of seeing each other, Phillip told Jennifer that he would be moving about five hours away. They agreed to give a long distance a shot, and clearly it was the right decision, because here we are today!
Jennifer and Phillip love playing tennis, cooking new foods, and hanging out with their pup, Wally. When asked what her favorite thing about Phillip is, Jennifer says it is his determination and love for herself and Wally. Phillip’s favorite things about Jennifer are her compassion and thoughtfulness.
Their wedding day was a perfect 70 degree, sunny day. The couple and bridal party got ready for the wedding at Planters Inn Hotel in downtown Charleston, and then were transported to the Boone Hall Plantation wedding venue by two Lowcountry Trolleys. This wedding was so classy and elegant – it reminded me so much of a dream-come-true fairytale wedding. Keep scrolling to take a peek at some shots from this special day.
